Android Update for HTC Desire 820 dual sim code named 'htc_a51dtul'
Finally its here, long awaited update from HTC is available for the eligible devices. It is released completely one year after Google announced Android Lollipop version 5.0.
The Software update came on First week of October 2015 to all the HTC desire 820 dual sim models in India. The update is around 987.53MB with HTC Software update version 2.10.720.1.
This update contains important enhancements and bug fixes, including:
System Update
- Android 5.0 Lollipop update
- Lock screen and Notification: New Lollipop UI style with enhanced privacy features.
- Recent apps: Supporting multiple pages.
-Addition of search function within settings.
What this HTC update does not contain and is not available for HTC desire 820 dual sim:
- Sense UI version 7.0
This update was announced just after the release of Android Marshmallow 6.0, we don't know yet when this will be available for my favorite HTC device. I guess it will be taking another one year when Google releases Android 7.0.
We still await for the great Cyanogenmod to be available for this device, not even one nightly has been released on this codename. We hope to see it soon as i have see some of the users on github working on this codename. Hope the good. Cheers !!!
